About Fighting Threadz
Hello there! You can call me Luigi, and this is my store that sells products related to fighting games!
I am a Software Developer that happens to like fighting games a lot! Currently I both make content and compete on fighting games (mainly KOFXV), and I am looking to bring people the opportunity to wear products that reference both fighting games and the community as a whole.
I am now playing for the Red Kings team!
Why make this store?
On the picture above, you can see me wearing a shirt that displays a classic motion input which is very common on fighting games. I bought this while I was in the store with my girlfriend while looking for random shirts. I likefighting games, I saw it, I liked it and bought it. Simple!
Soon after, I started travelling to European majors such as Brussels Challenge (Brussels), VS Fighting (Birmingham), UFA (Paris), Fighters Fest (Munich), and other events. Of course, I had to bring my new shirt.
To my surprise, on each on these events I saw several people either using the exact same shirt or their favorite characters in them. I saw that people were very passionate not only to play, compete and interact with other members in the community but they were also looking to start showing the genre they love with what they wear and use. That's when I started looking for stores that focus on products on the genre but I couldn't find any.
While I did find some shirts and products that reference either the genre or the community, those were products that were either in a store that focuses on lots of things because they are their own clothing brand (like the one I bought) or in market places like RedBubble or Etsy, but none of them were a standalone store that focuses on it. Hence I decided to take action and sell designs that reference this amazing genre that we all love with memes, peripherals and character archetypes so that people can show what they play or aspects of it.
What is the goal?
To bring the community together and make them have more freedom to express themselves! This way, fighting game players don't need to look for broad stores to then look for specific products that have very a specific reference (and sometimes those products are just out of stock or the store doesn't happen to sell them at that period of time). Instead, players can now save time in looking for those references on this brand that will always make sure to bring those them in the product of their liking (this time mainly shirts, but currently I am looking to add more products like mugs, mouse pads, etc.).
